PROGRAM
HAVANA – CIENFUEGOS
DAY 1. Departure for Cienfuegos, known as the Pearl of the South. Tour its streets and avenues founded by the French. It is located in a wonderful bay, home to the largest coral reef in Cuba yet discovered, named Notre Dame. Lunch. Free time. Walk around the bay, weather permitting. Visit to the Academy of Art and Culture for folk dance or percussion classes where you can experience a closer look at Cuban roots. Accommodation and dinner at a polo hotel.
CIENFUEGOS - TRINIDAD.
DAY 2. Breakfast. 10:00 am Visit to the Dolphinarium and interaction with the dolphins (closed on Wednesdays). Departure for Trinidad. City tour. Visit to the Plaza Mayor; a city museum; the Church of the Holy Trinity; La Canchánchara Bar, with its typical welcome cocktail; and a ceramics workshop. Lunch. Free time in the city. Overnight and dinner at the hotel.
DAY 3. Breakfast. Departure for the Valley of the Sugar Mills. San Isidro Sugar Mill. San Isidro de los Destiladeros is one of the old sugar mills in the Valley of the Sugar Mills. It is the most complete one that has survived to this day. In addition to the house and a unique bell tower, several remains of the other components of the sugar mill can be seen. It is considered one of the valley's most archaeologically valuable sites. Lunch. Continue to Santa Clara. Visit Ernesto Che Guevara Plaza, a meeting place for one of the most prominent and charismatic figures in contemporary world history, and the location of the museum and memorial bearing his name. Ground transportation to accommodation at the selected destination.
